- I'm just this guy living in Boulder, CO with my wife and two cats. I work as an Applications Engineer for an electronics company. I've been a bicycle racer since the early 80's and still race, but not so much as I'm getting older. My hobbies involve small computer hacking projects where I add features to existing products. Upgrading the hard drive in the Tivo, or building an open source DVR using a Linux machine, that sort of thing. I joke that an applications engineer is someone who make something work while only half understanding it. That's what goes on with these projects as well.
